Daniela Kerst (maiden name Jaensch), is a passionate author originally from Germany, now living in sunny Orange County, California. With a background in graphic design and a love for storytelling, she blends these interests to create enchanting tales for young readers.

Daniela's journey to the USA has been fueled by a lifelong dream, inspired by the vibrant surf culture and relaxed lifestyle of California. Since moving with her family in 2014, she reminds her sons to “never stop dreaming and believing in yourself.”

When she’s not writing, Daniela enjoys beach walks, bonfire gatherings with friends, and cheering on her boys in their sports, including football, tennis, and surfing.

Through her writing, she aims to spark imagination and inspire young readers to cherish the magic of friendship. Daniela is also dedicated to sharing valuable resources for aspiring writers, including insights from MasterClass, to help others on their creative journeys.
